So before, when they were handsome and conservative, they were "soulless, boring, ugly, and bland"...now that they are stylized and interesting....they're still "bland, ugly, stupid and obnoxious" or some such shit. Which is it. I love the new Lexus design. The interiors are to die for. And according to every test I've read, they go, turn, and stop amazingly well too. For a good price. What's not to like? (hint: nothing).

people see the badge and relate it to Toyota too much, which in turn being already brainwashed, its a beige appliance. It just has to be Europeans with people here. This is a rad vehicle that looks years ahead of a boring ass Audi Q5. Lexus invented this market, they can reinvent it in an aggressive way. Add F-Sport and feature turbo engines (which are on the way soon), and it'll prove it performance wise as well. Plus Lexus quality and value, like you said, what's not like (hint: nothing) :] indeed

Haha. Damn straight. And you know what...my dad used to have a GS430...first generation. That thing was fast as fuck for the late 90's. And it was a very nice car. HID headlights, Nakamichi stereo, 17" wheels with performance tires, black on black, no nav, spoiler, it was a sleeper. And that 2uz made a great noise. Traction control was pretty useless in the winter though...always told me it would be mine...then it got traded for an MDX. I felt used. Either way, after that, I've always been a Lexus fan no matter what. They are good cars.

Haha that must have been interesting. I used to work at an Acura dealer back in the day, just down the street from the Lexus dealership. I was always a bit jealous. The real let down was when a Honda would come in for service (which was always)...made you kind of disappointed at how similar Acuras and Hondas really are.

Well still, we had 50 bays and all were filled with valve spring or piston ring recalls. Lexus still managed 1st or 2nd (to Porsche) in quality. Honda/Acura were always a much safer vehicle. But, RWD is just soo boss. I work for a dealer that sells Volvo, Lotus, Aston, and Mercedes. Many many thing Lexus did better im comparison. Underrated and poorly stereotyped by enthusiast.

Yeah I agree. People just love to hate them for no reason. There really is nothing wrong with them at all, never has been. Acuras are definitely good cars, but they are second tier to what Lexus has to offer, honestly. Funny you mentioned that you came second to Porsche...every time I try to bring up that Porsche is more or less the most reliable brand of car you can buy, everyone bitches and whines and says I'm making that up haha.
